When you’re in a city surrounded by beautiful people and incredible talent, it’s difficult to single out and recognize one event. Having been a photographer of weddings (amongst other things) for over twenty years, I sometimes think I’ve seen it all, through a constant evolution of wedding services and wedding culture itself. But when standing in a room as incredibly transformed as this, it’s hard not to take notice.
First to mention, the lucky couple at the heart of this performance was Carrie McGregor and Greg Crisanti who got their wish, and had fresh snow for their big day! Congratulations and much love to you both!! Behind this incredible setup are Brandon’s very own Party Professionals, Expressions Entertainment, and The Bloom Box. The flowing drapery, immaculate table settings, and unique attention to detail are signatures of the Party Professionals’ keen creative eye. Added to the mix was Expressions Entertainment which, through precise handling of warm and cool lighting and other ambient effects, gave the room an ethereal, ice-cave feel. The flowers, handled by the Bloom Box, brought the perfect subtle texture and tone to each table setting, with just the right balance of organic warmth. Also of particular note was the cake provided by Well Dressed Cakes by Brett , that itself took on the appearance of an ice sculpture due to it’s design and texture. This team effort was coordinated with the help of the staff at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Convention Centre. Our hats go off to everyone involved involved in creating this unique space!
